This beautiful Paleo Midland lithic cast measures 3 3/16" long x 15/16" wide.
This point was found in North West Texas.  Midland points date to the late Paleo period.  This piece is large for the type.  You will notice the nipple or fluting platform on the base although the piece wasn't ever fluted. This artifact is featured in "The Finest Artifacts of Prehistoric Texas" by Dwain Rogers and Winston Ellison. This is a beautiful piece and I would like to personally thank Bill Yoder for allowing the casting of the relic.
