This exceptionally large Early Ovoid knife cast is about as good as they get.  The original piece was found in the eroded foundation of a house in Jefferson County Illinois.  The piece measures 9 3/4" x 2 11/16" and is the best example that I've handled.  The original is made from a high grade Burlington chert.  This is a beautiful piece and I would like to personally thank the owner for allowing the casting of the relic.
